Limited Warranty

L & R Lock Co., Inc, warrants its custom (not including RPL Line) locks and triggers to be free of defects in material and workmanship for one year after purchase. We will replace or repair, at our option, any locks and triggers found to be defective within this period.

This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser and does not cover misuse or damage after purchase.
Any locks and triggers worked on or repaired outside the
L & R Lock Co., Inc. factory voids this warranty.
No warranty claims will be honored without proof of purchase and the damaged part. Proof of purchase must accompany all returns and correspondence concerning warranty.All returns or exchanges of unaltered and undamaged merchandise,still under warrenty,will be subject to a $15.00 restocking fee.Items no longer under warrenty can not be returned. See address below.

RPL WARRANTY
The RPL Line of locks is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for thirty days after purchase. We will replace or repair, at our option, any lock found to be defective within that period.

 

 

 


Repair Service

From time to time we get requests to refurbish and/or "update" old or well used L&R locks that are out of or beyond warranty. Those customers and friends that have been able to drop by our booth at the National Championships at Friendship, Indiana, have taken advantage of the "on the spot" service we offer there. We welcome you to send your lock to South Carolina.

The regular charge is $15 plus parts and shipping (shipping is usually $8.00 to anywhere in the U.S. and is UPS only).

We do request the following information be included with your lock:

1. Your name, address and phone no. (in case we need to get in touch).

2. Any special instructions or problems you wish us to address.

3. If you wish to pay by Visa/Master, please include your card number and expiration date. Otherwise all extra charges will be handled by return COD.

Occasionally we run into old locks that are impractical to redo. In such cases we will be glad to notify you by phone or card to decide on the best course of action.

Ordinarily, repair or refurbishing is accomplished within 10 working days of receipt of the lock. Browning, blueing or polishing of the "external" surfaces of a lock is not part of this service.
